Performing rituals for letting go is a way to honor the choice to keep moving, keep growing, and keep going forward.
There is something enthantingly intangible about this time of year, something ethereal and mysterious that inspires contemplative reflection. Autumn symbolizes transition — light to dark, hot to cold, life to death. And by attuning to the wisdom of Autumn, we can learn how to navigate life changes with beauty and grace.
Water medicine, then, is perfect for when we are in need of emotional healing and renewal, when we need to attune to our intuition and inner wisdom, when we are seeking inspiration, and when we feel a calling to explore what is dwelling beneath the surface in our hearts, for example, when we are working with our Shadow.
By working honestly and openly with the Shadow, we become more authentic and whole. We gain deeper self awareness and self acceptance, and we have greater compassion and empathy for others. We are more grounded, more centered, and are able to communicate and express ourselves with greater confidence and clarity, which inevitably leads to more genuine and harmonious relationships with the people in our lives. Nature is the purest and most fundamental expression of harmony. It is no surprise then, that being in nature would restore harmony within us where there is dissonance — grounding and centering the mind and spirit, balancing turbulent emotions, and bringing our bodies back to their natural equilibrium.
Creating sacred space for ourselves in our homes helps us to feel more calm and centered in our bodies, and is a great way to enhance our meditation practice and soul work. Sacred inner space is the tranquil atmosphere we create for the psyche — where we can go even deeper in our meditation and even further in our soul work.
Creating sacred space in your home is a beautiful and effective way to make the most of the time you dedicate to nurturing your spirit. Not only does this create a peaceful atmosphere of clear and calming energy, but whether you are meditating, journaling, journeying, doing energy work or working with your spirit guides, the ritual itself of devoting purposeful you time in your sacred space helps you focus and strengthen your intentions.
Reading auras is an effective way to understand the energetic dynamics in your environment and detect the true intentions of others around you.
